Most of us think that only women can be flexible, and for men to do a split or a middle split is "mission impossible". Darius destroys such a stereotype with a bang. It doesn't take long to notice a man's flexibility and joint mobility - you instantly understand that there are no limits to the capabilities of the human body, and gender has nothing to do with it. When asked what the path is and what needs to be done to achieve such results, Darius explains very simply that he was interested in stretching independently and has been doing it since the age of 16. So, as in most areas, the recipe for success is similar - consistent work and patience.
Despite the fact that Darius received his higher education at the Lithuanian Military Academy, today in everyday life he is not only a certified masseur (King Mindaugas Vocational Training Center, Thai Massage School, etc.), but you will be surprised by a profession that is not often found - a bathhouse attendant! Although his daily schedule seems quite full, Darius decided to let pole dancing into his life in the fall of 2018. "An acquaintance sent a link about a men's group being formed. Since I have always liked such a sport, which requires not only strength, but also coordination and balance, and I had never tried anything like it before, I decided to do it without much thought," the man recalls.
As you can see, sports are a constant companion in the life of a man from the small town of Žiežmariai. And although today Darius does not conduct stretching or pole conditioning training at Flame, pole dancing has not disappeared from his life. In May 2024, persuaded by Deimantė, he performed in a duet with her and demonstrated his pole dancing skills and strength at Flame's 5th anniversary birthday party. Also whenever some minor repair work arises in the studios, it is Darius who comes to the rescue. There is even an inside joke in the team that in order to hammer even a nail in Flame, you have to practice pole dancing more or less :)
