Before Flame, Deimantė could confidently fit her life into the standard framework of an "office person". With a bachelor's degree in business administration and management, the woman from Klaipėda gained experience in international companies for 11 years and enjoyed all the pros of such a life: suits, conference calls, business trips, career. Everything would be simple and clear, if not for the thought constantly lurking somewhere in her subconscious that maybe one day she should turn her routine upside down and try her hand at a completely different activity.
But dreams remained dreams: "there was just never time to figure out what I really wanted." Things were turned in the right direction by one of life's biggest challenges - the determination to become a mother. In December 2017, Deimante gave birth to a daughter, and since the fall of 2018, she has been fully immersed in the activities of the Flame. "I have always followed the principle in life that it is better to regret what you have done than what you have not done," the woman opens up.
Sports and movement have always played an important role in Deimantė's life: in childhood - ballroom dancing, during her studies - aerobics. Almost always, the main motivation was to lose weight, but she never succeeded, because chaos prevailed in her mind, and during her student years she simply could not live and eat healthily. A little later, as her attitude changed and she searched for a greater meaning, figure skating, callanetics and a return to adult ballroom dancing appeared in the woman's life with her then-future husband.
"I had heard a lot about pole dancing, but I was always intimidated by this stereotypical sport and didn't dare to try it, and I didn't really know where to go.
In the fall of 2016, an inner breakthrough occurred - I found a studio and registered. I was very afraid to go to the first training, my imagination created a stressful environment of brightly painted girls with perfect bodies. Imagine how positively surprised I was when I came and saw ordinary, standard-built girls and women with their pluses and minuses. As I now remember my phrase, literally shouted to my husband when I returned after the first training: "I spent 30 years of my life in vain..." - the woman tells about her first acquaintance with pole sport, smiling. When asked if she would ever want to teach others, Deimantė is a little lost: "I wouldn't want to completely slam that door, but today I am more attracted to the comprehensive Flame's well-being."
