Lina could be for sure called one of the pioneers of pole dance in Lithuania. Her acquaintance with pole dance began back in the spring of 2012 in Vilnius - at a time when mobile phones did not film every step, and we more often met people in person than through apps. Lina nostalgically recalls: "A small hall with three poles and a lot of uncertainty - what is happening here and how it is all done. However, one thing became clear very quickly: the possibilities of body movements on a pole are almost limitless." This is probably the main reason that has kept pole sport an integral part of Lina's life for many years.
The girl who grew up in Jurbarkas came to Vilnius to study physiotherapy, so sports and working with the body naturally became her professional direction, and all the activities seemed to come together by themselves. Today, Lina works as a massage therapist, which she loves, and pole dancing training is an ideal addition to her weekly routine. "I always knew what I wanted - that's what I do every day" - Lina is tight-lipped, but when asked about her dreams, she is disarming with openness: "I just want to live a happy life."
The woman is constantly improving and deepening her professional knowledge in various trainings (Xpert Teacher Training – Pole Fitness and Spin Pole, Pilates Mat Teacher Training I, II and III). All this experience helps to combine strength, body control and movement aesthetics in training. Lina is still most fascinated by "spinning, handstands, power elements, dynamics, plasticity and dance. Pole dance allows you to combine all these directions into one movement language, where everyone finds their own style."
